Presentation skills are critical to one's career, but few enjoy giving presentations. During this two course series, participants will learn to tell their story and get out of their comfort zone to master The Art of Public Speaking.

Learning Objectives

Presentations should be engaging and convey a message. This two course series is designed to help individuals who present: 

  • Utilize fundamental presentation tools
  • Develop presentation confidence and effectiveness 
  • Practice delivering a strong presentation

Series

The Art of Public Speaking is a two part series designed to strengthen your confidence and improve your presentation skills.

Part I | Telling the Story
This course gives participants the fundamental tools for delivering presentations with confidence and effectiveness. Techniques for "Telling a Story" are covered, as well as, techniques that help build confidence in the presenter.

Part II | Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone
In Part II you will take a closer look at introductions, telling your story, and conclusions. Participants are asked in Part I to prepare and deliver a short presentation during Part II using a powerful visual that tells their story in 3 minutes or less.
