In July of 2013, the University launched an all-new, online Event Management System (EMS) that replaces the former Ad Astra event scheduling system. Within the new EMS, you can browse an all-campus calendar to see what's happening on the day of your event, search for events by location, and view an integrated event calendar through your Outlook account. Add it to the Calendar
Adding your event to the University calendar or registering your event with ASuop are great ways to spread the word, and to avoid competition for audiences by alerting other event planners about your plans for a given day. Anyone can add an event to the University calendar by visiting the Events Calendar homepage, then clicking "Submit an Event," which you can find on the right-hand side of your screen.
All student events must be registered with the Student Activities Center, as outlined in University Policies - Section 5 of the Tiger Lore handbook. Events can be registered through the ASuop OrgSync site. ASuop can also assist student organizations with the event planning process; for more information, contact Jennifer Low at jlow@pacific.edu, or 209.946.2235.
