Membership

phi beta kappa 2018
The 2018 Initiation Ceremony: The Chi Chapter of California initiated Ruchika Agrawal, Kathlyn Ortega, Brandon Nguyen, Kathy Garibay, Ashley Pham, Katherine Anne Ram, Lluvia Garnica, and Anneroos Nederstigt.

According to the chapter's charter, no more than 10 percent of Pacific's best liberal arts students may be inducted into the distinguished Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Membership is by invitation, and typically those invited to join are within the top 5 percent of their graduating class.  Members also have a strong liberal arts education, with demonstrated fluency in a second language, demonstrated study of literature, and facility with math at the college level.  The following documents describe how the chapter evaluates the depth and breadth of students' achievements.
