I am extremely grateful for the support from the PROMISE Scholars program. Former foster youth will prosper here because there are resources and people who will invest in your success.

Pacific PROMISE Scholars

How to Apply | How You Can Help | Make a Gift

The Pacific PROMISE Scholars program helps former foster care and homeless students see higher education as a path toward achieving their dreams. Since 2012, we have worked with students to develop a foundation for success in college through advocacy, assistance and support. Pacific believes it's important to help these students as they do not always have the support needed to be successful in college.

Megan Walters

"I was a recipient of the Fleming Family Scholarship, which has truly helped me afford my education at Pacific. When I joined the women's softball team, I gained a family in my teammates and coaches. And as part of the PROMISE Scholars Program, I received resources, support and encouragement from the program staff and generous donors to help me be successful. Through all the transitions in my life, it was the stability of sports and the influence of caring teachers that kept me going. "
