University of the Pacific offers three distinct education equity programs for underserved students in both the Stockton community and beyond. These programs help young adults achieve and afford a Pacific education, preparing them for successful and meaningful lives. Each program is designed for the needs of specific groups. SUCCESS - TRiO Program
- Funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant that serves students from low-income and first generation college backgrounds
- Services: include tutoring, direct financial assistance, academic, financial, personal and career counseling
Pacific PROMISE Scholars
- Designed for current or former foster care and other disconnected students without a traditional family support system
- Creates a sense of home and a feeling of belonging on campus
- Connects students to campus and community resources, to facilitate their transition to and success at Pacific

Upward Bound - TRiO Program
- Funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant that serves low-income and first generation students from Edison High School
- Services: include tutoring, financial aid assistance, college application support , career exploration and planning, college Campus Tours, field trips to community events and workshops and a six-week summer program at the University of the Pacific.
