Reunion Giving 2012

Reunion Class Gift Committee

Reunion Class Gift Committee Members work with the Pacific Fund Office to encourage their classmates to raise support for the Pacific Fund, the University's annual giving program which impacts:

  • Undergraduate Scholarships: Providing need-based and merit scholarships.
  • Experiential Learning: Includes research assistants, senior theses, studying abroad, field work, and other experiential learning projects. These experiences prepare students to be effective practicing professionals and leaders.
  • Faculty Scholarship and Research: Increases opportunity for faculty research through travel, leaves and the purchase of new equipment.
  • Academic Innovation: Supporting faculty, staff, and students in multidisciplinary collaborations, certificate programs, community-based research and in the pioneering of international partnerships.
  • Responsibilities for Reunion Class Gift Committee Members include:

  • Become knowledgeable about the importance of the Pacific Fund.
  • Make your own commitment before calling on your classmates.
  • Initiate peer-to-peer contact with as many classmates as possible.
  • Help achieve the goals for the reunion class gift competition.
  • Communicate with the Pacific Fund Office and fellow volunteers throughout your term.

    Founders' Bowl: Highest percentage of class participation in the Pacific Fund
    Regents' Cup: Highest dollars raised for the Pacific Fund
