Self-Help Resources

We recognize that some personal concerns may not require professional attention or that some people may not wish to meet with a therapist at this time. With this in mind, we have provided information here about a variety of issues that affect many students. If you would like to schedule an appointment to talk with a therapist please see Making an Appointment.

This page is a work in progress and if you have suggestions for additional topics that you'd like to see, please let us know!

Speaking of self-help resources, here is a nifty PDF on how to make your own neckwarmer to get you through a cold front or to help you manage tense muscles due to stress! If you made or plan to make one using tube socks that have any metallic threads in the stripes at the top, make sure you either cut off the area with the metallic threads or use that sock ONLY as a cold pack (e.g., put it in your freezer, not your microwave).
