The departments with the Division os Student Life that fall under the umbrella of Team Pacific are New Student & Family Program, Pacific Recreation, Student Academic Support Services, DeRosa University Center and Student Leadership Development. Team Pacific places and emphasis on providing honest and critical feedback to promote personal and professional development. This is accomplished through a Job Performance Average (JPA) evaluations, which provide an avenue for meaningful discussion and goal setting. JPAs are based on a 4.0 scale and occur every academic year. There are many benefits to being a member of Team Pacific. Skills learned in classes such as CPR and First Aid Certification are not only used on the job, but also make for lifetime learning. We also help our student employees translate their experiences to their resumes to support success after graduation by offering professional development opportunities in conjunction with the Career Resource Center. Team Pacific recognizes the importance of incorporating regular reward and recognition programs into the student employment experience. An annual Year-End Celebration is held to jointly and publicly recognize the efforts and accomplishments of Team Pacific student employees over the course of the academic year. Employment
