Admission Requirements - Freshman

Admission to the Dental Hygiene Program is competitive and based on merit.  High school applicants apply as a freshman to the dental hygiene major to complete the prerequisite coursework listed below at Pacific.  A high school GPA of at least 2.7 is required as well as courses in biology, chemistry and other college preparatory classes.  Once the prerequisite coursework is complete in Stockton, dental hygiene majors earning a GPA of 3.0 or higher will automatically matriculate to the upper division professional courses in San Francisco. Those earning below a 3.0 will not automatically matriculate, but may apply to the Transfer Program. Those who apply will be guaranteed an interview.
