2) work in small groups to generate "big ideas" that will help the Strategic Planning Committee develop strategies

Symposium on "Big Ideas"

Participants: University faculty, staff, students with the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) 
Expected Outcome: discuss "big ideas" to help the Strategic Planning Committee draft a University Planning Document

Futures Symposium

A University strategic planning symposium was held on Saturday, September 24. President Eibeck hosted a morning of thought-provoking discussions on the future of higher education and how Pacific can position itself to thrive in the coming decades. Featured speakers included planning guru Donald Norris and author-provocateur Anya Kamenetz. Extensive information on the planning process is available on the Strategic Planning website.
