The Department of Health, Exercise and Sport Sciences offers programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees. The purpose of a Health, Exercise and Sport Sciences degree is to educate and prepare students for a wide variety of careers in the fields grounded in human movement.

A set of required core courses provides students with a common base of knowledge and understanding about the concepts within the discipline. In addition to the core, Health, Exercise and Sport Sciences majors must successfully complete health and exercise science or human performance. All degree options culminate with internships or practical coursework in clinical and applied settings.
