Shared Governance

Faculty participate in the governance process and recommend policies for consideration through the University committee structure. The Faculty Handbook, adopted in June, 2002, in Chapter 5 describes the Bylaws of the Faculty and the Academic Council of the University of the Pacific. Approvals of changes are governed by a specific approval process. Faculty participate in the governance process and recommend policies for consideration through the University committee structure.  Recommended changes to the Faculty Handbook may be submitted to Academic Council by completing the Proposed Changes to the Faculty Handbook form.
