Black History Month poster

Pacific has numerous committees that put on themed-months. For example, the Black History Month committee puts on dozens of events every February, from poetry readings to hosting major speakers, such as Lecrae (2017), Common (2014), or Soledad O'Brien (2010). These events are often entertaining, educational, and a great way to connect with people in the community.

There are dozens of campus student clubs, Greek organizations, professional organizations, and academic activities that are open to the campus community. Whether you are looking for a political cause, a way to meet people of your faith or ethnicity, or simply want a snow-boarding partner or want to see a concert or movie, it's easy to find interesting activities or events around campus.

Pacific's Stockton campus has its own movie theater, a museum, several gymnasiums, a fitness center, live theatrical performances, a concert hall, and even a small student-oriented nightclub that hosts local bands and comedians.

Also, Pacific is only 45 minutes away from a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station, so it's easy to make a trip into San Francisco, or buddy up with students and head in the opposite direction to the mountains for skiing or hiking. ASUOP, the student government, also routinely puts together large on-campus events and organizes group trips to large concerts and festivals. Pacific is an NCAA Division One school, so there are top-notch athletic games happening on campus just about every weekend. At Pacific, there's always something to do.
