Special Events
The College of the Pacific is instrumental in bringing numerous events to campus that enlighten and entertain. Many events are free and open to the public as well as to Pacific faculty, staff, and students.
As the home to numerous departments, programs and centers covering the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, the College offers something for everyone.

Colliver Lecture Series
The Colliver Lecture Series, sponsored by the Religious & Classical Studies department, hosts a prominent speaker once or twice a year to discuss an aspect of religion in society. The lectures are free and open to the public.
John Muir Symposium
Housed in the College's Wendell Phillips Center, the John Muir Center fosters scholarship about John Muir and promotes environmental initiatives at Pacific. Every two years, the John Muir Center hosts an academic symposium devoted to John Muir's achievements or other aspects of regional and environmental studies. The Center also sponsors events throughout the year related to John Muir, environmentalism, and early California history.
Theatre Arts Productions
Our Theatre Arts department puts on several productions each year, sometimes in collaboration with Pacific's Music Conservatory and other outside performing arts organizations. Check the Upcoming Productions page to learn more.
Reynolds Gallery
An integral part of our Art and Graphic Design department, the Reynolds Gallery is located in the Jeannette Powell Art Center on the Stockton campus. Throughout the academic year, the Reynolds Gallery hosts artists and scholars in a series of exhibitions, lectures, and workshops.
