  • Customized workshops or programs for students
  • Handshake for posting your on-campus student jobs
  • Assistance when connecting with employers and information on the legal issues and ethics of referring students to employers
  • Access to forms and information regarding experiential learning

"Don't Cancel Class" Service

If you know in advance you are going to be away from class for any reason, a Career Services staff member would be more than happy to present to your class. This service is now offered online through webinar or recorded video. Available topics include:

Classroom 2 Careers

Classroom 2 Careers is a Career Services partnership with University of the Pacific faculty and departments to offer a limited number of grants up to $500. These grants will be awarded to faculty to deliver programs or events with a focus on career development for Pacific students.

Faculty Access to Handshake

Handshake is Career Services online job database.  Employers who are interested in hiring Pacific students and alumni post full-time and part-time jobs, internships, and co-ops on Handshake. Candidates can apply for positions directly through the database. On-campus employers also post work study and non-work study positions. Faculty can have access to their own Handshake account.  If you are interested in having your own account please email Michelle Arcos at to get set up. 

Tiger Treks

Tiger Treks allow students to visit sites of companies and organizations that match their career interests. In many cases student are able to tour the site, learn about career paths and hear from professionals within their field of study. Career Services is happy to collaborate with individual faculty as well as departments to facilitate this opportunity. Many faculty have connections with industry professionals throughout Northern California and can use these to create these opportunities.
