Meet the President
President to host a call-in radio show, office hours and fire pit chats this semester
(Stockton, Calif.) - University of the Pacific students will have several opportunities this spring to bring their comments, questions and concerns directly to University President Pamela A. Eibeck . Eibeck will host a monthly radio show on the student-run KPAC station starting in February, and will meet directly with students several other times.
As she did last semester, Eibeck will meet with students for informal chats at the Don and Karen DeRosa University Center fire pit. In February she will host open office-hours where students can drop by for private meetings with her and enjoy a piece of chocolate.
"One of the great rewards of my job is meeting our students and hearing their concerns," Eibeck said. "I had wonderful conversations with students last semester and look forward to hearing more from students what Pacific is doing right and what we need to be doing better."
The new hour-long radio show, called "Out of the Office with President Eibeck," will air Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. starting Feb. 2. It will air on the first Tuesday of each month on the student-run KPAC radio 91.9 FM or listen live online at www.kpac.pacific.edu. Students may send their questions via IM. Each show will focus on a different topic: Housing, ASUOP, Public Safety and the Bookstore.
