Paint
This department is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior colors of all academic and housing buildings including most of the fraternity and sorority houses. Graffiti removal, street signs, crosswalks and street and parking lot striping are monitored and maintained as well. Painting is done on a rotational schedule, on an as needed basis and in conjunction with new construction or upgrades to already established buildings.
The Paint shop also specializes in flooring and window covering installation and removal.
Outside of the normal upkeep of the University buildings and campus, the Paint Shop may, upon availability and departmental approval, "freshen up" offices and buildings on campus. In order to do so, a FAMIS estimate request must be submitted and approved prior to proceeding. Please keep in mind Pacific does have a set color scheme.
Graffiti is an unfortunate but very real problem; the Paint Shop along with the Pacific community is committed to keeping off our campus. If you should see graffiti anywhere on campus, please contact Support Services at 946-2541 as well as Public Safety at 946-2537.
