What is it?
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation was established in 2000 through the will of the billionaire from humble beginnings. Jack Kent Cooke decided to use his wealth to help hard working and focused students who face the same financial obstacles as he did so that they may reach their full potential through education. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Scholarship looks to enable the nation's next generation of leaders, students with exceptional promise and financial need, achieve their dreams.
Who is eligible?
Applicants must hold senior standing or must have graduated within the last five years. During their undergraduate studies, applicants must have maintained a 3.50 grade-point average and demonstrate unmet financial need. Applicants are required to have obtained their bachelor's degree by the beginning of the fall semester in which they would receive the scholarship and plan to begin their first graduate degree program in this same fall semester.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is one of the largest and most competitive scholarship programs in the nation. The Foundation offers up to $50,000 to approximately 30 award winners out an estimated pool of over 1,000 applicants.
