Calliope

Calliope is the Literary and Arts magazine of Pacific. It is produced by the Humanities Center, through the collaborative efforts of students from the English and Art and Graphic Design Departments under the mentorship of Professors Courtney Lehmann (English) and Brett DeBoer (Art and Graphic Design).

Visual and literary artworks produced by students are juried for inclusion in the publication by a student editorial staff. A student design staff then visually organizes this content into a coherent magazine and takes it to press. The final results are unveiled each spring. The entire printing costs are funded through generous donations from individuals and local businesses.

If you would like to be a contributor or a participant in an upcoming issue please contact Professor Lehmann at 209.946.2609 or Professor DeBoer at 209.946.3097.

Take a look at past editions of Pacific's nationally recognized magazine, and contact Professor Lehmann or Professor DeBoer if you want to be involved with this year's edition.
