Graduate Assistantships
A number of graduate assistantships are available each year. Graduate assistants work as instructors in courses such as Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Public Relations, and Media and Society. They also serve as coaches for Pacific's nationally ranked forensics program and as research assistants for professors in the department.
A full-time graduate assistant will normally take 8 units and a full-time student, 16 units.
Graduate assistants who seek to take more than 8 units must receive department approval and the approval of the Graduate Dean.
