Most graduate students who are U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens will qualify for up to $20,500.00 a year. Interest accrues while the student is in school, and payments are not due until the student has completed their degree. Recent interest rate and loan fee information can be found here.
Graduate PLUS Loan
PLUS loans are approved based on credit worthiness and a separate application is required for consideration. Interest does accrue while the student is in school although there is no payment due (additional information may be found on the Student Loans site).
