Recommended Course of Study for High School Students

University of the Pacific recommends that applicants complete a college preparatory course of study aimed at strengthening analytical abilities and written and oral skills. This course of study typically includes:

1. 4 years of English
2. 3 (or 4) years of mathematics
3. 2 (or 3) years of laboratory science
4. 2 years of the same foreign language
5. 1 year of U.S. History
6. 1 year of fine or performing arts
