Transferring Coursework to Pacific
Pacific's ROAR (Roam Online Articulation Reports) shows how credits from other institutions and approved testing programs will transfer to Pacific.

Transferable Units
University of the Pacific allows students to transfer coursework from other colleges and universities, counting toward a Pacific degree. Once you accumulate 70 units from all schools, including Pacific, additional community colleges courses will satisfy content requirements only and will not apply to the minimum units required for graduation. Once a student has reached 40 units less than what is required for his/her degree, only 8 more units may be accepted from a four year institution. Additional community college or four year institution courses will satisfy content requirements only and will not apply to the total units for graduation. Satisfaction of content requirements mean that the Pacific requirement will be met upon successful completion of the transfer course but units will not transfer.
To find details on how a specific course from your institution will transfer to Pacific, please use our Articulation Agreement resource ROAR!
Transferable Grades
A grade of "C-" or below will not transfer to Pacific. No units will be awarded.
If a student has repeated the class in which the "C-" or lower was earned, the most current grade for that class is used for calculating the transfer admission grade-point average only.
Note: Only course content and credit are accepted in transfer. the associated grades do NOT become part of the Pacific GPA.

International Transfer Credit![]()
All students who attended universities outside of the United States must submit an evaluation of their academic records. Transcripts must be reviewed by World Education Services (WES). Request a Course-by-Course WES ICAP (International Credential Advantage Package) evaluation and have an official copy sent directly to University of the Pacific. Please review the WES website for evaluation fee information.
The educational documentation you will need to submit to WES varies based on the country of study, as well as the highest level of education you have completed outside of the United States. We recommend that you visit the WES website (www.wes.org) to obtain information about what types of documentation are required for submission in order to obtain an evaluation report.
All students who attended universities outside of the United States must also submit course descriptions of their completed university work. The course descriptions must come from either the school's website or official catalog. Please send the course descriptions to University of the Pacific's Office of Admission.
