The Communication Department offers forensics scholarships to students who have demonstrated a high level of performance proficiency and require financial assistance.

The Pacifican

The Pacifican is a student-managed, independent weekly newspaper. This publication serves as a laboratory for those interested in pursuing careers in journalism.

PRSSA

The University of the Pacific boasts a chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.

Serious public relations students meet monthly to hear professionals invited from San Francisco and other major market areas discuss contemporary public relations topics.

They also form teams to compete in national case-study competition. Pacific PRSSA teams have distinguished themselves over the years by placing in national competition.

PAC2 TV (Tiger TV)

Pacific's Channel 2 is a closed-circuit cable television station on campus that allows students to be involved in cable-casting campus news, campus sports and discussion of issues. Students can earn practicum units through their participation.

PAC2 TV

We are always looking for show ideas, producers, directors and videographers. You may be able to host your own weekly show, anchor campus news or deliver sports updates. Students also have the opportunity to be part of the management staff.
