Pacificans hail unique Class of 2020

May 15, 2020

The 2020 graduating class at University of the Pacific always will be unique.

Students overcame uncertainty and hardship caused by a pandemic to earn their degrees. Commencement ceremonies were virtual events, but they remained filled with purpose.

The Pacific Alumni Association team asked members of the university family to write notes of encouragement to the Class of 2020. Below are a few of the poignant messages.

You can visit the “20 for 20” alumni association web page for dozens of more salutations.

Christopher Callahan, president designate: You have shown remarkable adaptability and perseverance despite the historic challenges you faced this semester. I look forward to watching your great successes in the years to come. Congratulations Class of 2020!
