The School of Engineering and Computer Science (SOECS) is committed to health and safety of our students, staff and faculty. We are also committed to providing the best possible academic experience for our students as we find our way through this challenging time.
This status page will be used to communicate about the current status of SOECS operations as the situation evolves. Please also check the university’s status page at Pacific.edu/CoronaVirus for additional important information.
Facilities: Labs, Classrooms and Offices | SOECS Stockton Campus

- All SOECS buildings are locked at all times. PacificCard access to these buildings remains available for SOECS staff and faculty.
- SOECS laboratories, including computer labs, are locked at all times. PacificCard access to labs remains available for SOECS staff and faculty.
- The University has disabled all student PacificCard access plans. Students will not have the ability to enter SOECS buildings or labs by swiping their cards. If you need to get into a SOECS building, call 209.946.2151 during business hours or contact Public Safety.
- SOECS academic administrative assistants have transitioned to working remotely, and can all be contacted most easily via email or phone.

All SOECS courses have moved to remote delivery. The primary delivery mechanism is Canvas. Students should look for course materials and announcements from their instructors through Canvas course sites.
- No SOECS courses are holding on-campus meetings. This includes lecture and laboratory courses.
- SOECS faculty advisors are available by email, phone and video. Advising for summer and fall courses will be conducted via remote communication.
- The General Academic Tutoring Center (GATC) will continue to offer tutoring via remote communications. Tutoring appointments can be requested at www.pacific.mywconline.com.
