Anne M. Davis, Program Director
Anne Davis, program director of the Master of Science clinical nutrition program, specializes in maternal child health and pediatric nutrition. On the research side, she conducts epidemiological studies of the effects of obesity during pregnancy, including the investigation of controversial nutrition interventions. Dr. Davis has a long research history in clinical pediatric nutrition as well as 10 years in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical food industries conducting multi-center, international clinical trials in infant formula, human milk, docosahexaenoic acid, arachidonic acid and a medical food for Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Davis earned her doctoral degree in public health from Temple University in Philadelphia, Masters of Science in allied health from the University of Connecticut, dietetic internship at Saint Louis University and Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine in Food and Nutrition. She sits on several peer-reviewed journal editorial boards including The Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Dr. Davis is a registered dietitian. Her clinical nutrition care spans 20 years of inpatient and outpatient pediatric and neonatal nutrition in multiple Children’s Hospitals in the areas of critical care, nutrition support, home care, cystic fibrosis, small bowel transplantation, gastroenterology and clinical management.
