Peter Hackett is a professional musician, teaching artist and technology specialist working with multiple populations and genres including jazz, rock, pop, latin and folk. He has 40 years of experience in studio recording playing the drum set and on vocals. As a performing artist he has played with bands such as Jeramy Norris and the Dangerous Mood, James Blonde Band, Dirk Hamilton Band, Lisa Gallego Band, Latin Magic Band, and others.

Hackett's recording studio experience includes working as an independent studio drummer for NACNUD Sound in Lodi, CA, and The Press Recording Studio in Stockton, CA. He collaborated on two CD projects at the world famous Hyde Street studios in San Francisco, and on various recordings at many Cental Valley studios.
