Meet the Instructors
Mrs. Raquel Albornoz is an experienced translator who has translated over 100 books in her career. Among those books, Mrs. Albornoz translated into Spanish, include the following titles: The Exorcist written by William Peter Blatty, The Haj by Leon Uris, Contact by Carl Sagan, Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow and Henderson, The Rain King by Saul Bellow.
Mrs. Albornoz was the Dean of the faculty of Foreign languages and Foreign Studies for the University of Belgrano, Argentina, from 2002 until 2015.
Mrs. Albornoz has been a full professor of Literary Translation at National Institute of higher Education and University of Belgrano, from 1990 until 2015.
Mr. Alejandro Parini is the Director of the School of Languages and International Studies at University of Belgrano, Argentina. He is also a professor of English linguistics and translation at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mr. Parini is also a visiting professor at City University, London.
