Pacific Double Reed Day
Pacific Double Reed Day (PDRD) at University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music is for oboists and bassoonists of all ages. Students, teachers, professionals, music directors are welcome to enjoy a day of learning, music making and double reed fun. The inaugural event took place on April 20, 2019. It culminated with a concert open to the public and featuring guest artists from Baylor University, Euridice Alvarez and Ann Shoemaker, and the Big Pacific Double Reed Band made up of PDRD participants.
