Jermaine's Professional Biography
Jermaine Harris has been active in secondary education for fifteen years, focusing on enrichment programs for low-income first-generation students, student development, and advocacy. He is a second-year Doctoral student in Leadership and Learning with a specialization in K-12 Educational Leadership.
Jermaine has conducted program initiatives such as the African American Male Pipeline Project (AAMP) and Womyn in science education with the University of California Berkeley to increase the college-going rate of African American male students and Women of color, providing comprehensive college awareness, mentorship, mental and emotional empowerment, academic preparation, advising, preparing students to persist to college and study a S.T.E.M. major.
He currently serves as the Upward Bound Director for the University of the Pacific.
