A University of the Pacific alumnus, Dr. Eric Hammer passed away on January 28. He had recently announced his retirement after a 26-year career as director of bands and professor of music education at Pacific Conservatory of Music. Dr. Hammer's spirit enlivened us all, and we will truly miss him.
To celebrate Dr. Eric Hammer's life and his contributions to Music Education, Pacific Conservatory of Music invites all community members to a memorial event on February 10, at 10 am, at Alex G. Spanos Center, 1178 Larry Heller Drive, University of the Pacific, Stockton.

Symphonic Wind Ensemble's New York City Tour 2019
Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble embarks on a concert tour to New York, March 10 through March 13, 2019. The tour culminates with a performance during the 2019 New York Wind Band Festival at Carnegie Hall. It was Dr. Eric Hammer's vision to bestow this grand experience onto his students. In his memory we make his vision come true. Onward.
