Cadence University Program Member
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering and Computer Science is a Cadence University Program Member at the University of the Pacific and participates in the Cadence University Software Program.
Cadence PSpice circuit software is used extensively in the undergraduate curriculum at Pacific. In addition, Cadence Virtuoso Custom Integrated Circuit (IC) design software is used in select upper division classes in VLSI and Integrated Circuit Design.
Cadence software tools are used extensively in industry. By integrating the software suites into our curriculum, we are ensuring that our engineering and computer science graduates are well prepared in their careers.
