Search underway for associate dean of the Graduate School

The Graduate School has begun its search for an associate dean for academic affairs who will support of the day-to-day operations of the Graduate School and provide oversight over the graduate assistantship allocation process, academic policies and processes and other academic issues. The job description is now posted on PeopleAdmin and open for internal applications until June 15. Graduate School Dean Thomas Naehr's goal is to make an appointment prior to the beginning of the fall term.

Naehr encourages tenured faculty members from units offering a graduate degree to review the job description and consider applying for this position. This is a three-year renewable 0.5 FTE appointment in the Graduate School and 0.5 FTE in the home unit during the fall and spring terms, and up to 1.0 FTE in the Graduate School during the summer.
