Office365 Installation Instructions

Office 365 ProPlus Installation Guide For Windows

  1. Go to http://www.office.com/getoffice365
.
  2. Choose either the "Teachers" or "Students" tab depending on your role. (Staff can choose "Teachers").
  3. Click on the "Get started for free "button.
  4. Sign in with your Pacific email address (@pacific.edu) or your Pacific Gmail address (@u.pacific.edu).
  5. If you have already registered, then you will be prompted to sign in again.
    • Enter your Pacific email address (@pacific.edu) or your Pacific Gmail address (@u.pacific.edu).
    • Use your current PacificNet password.
    • Proceed to install file.
  6. If you haven't registered previously, check your Pacific email for a link from Office 365 and follow the link to finish signing up.
  7. You will be asked to do the following: Enter First Name and Last Name, create password, confirm your password, and enter your date of birth.
  8. Click "Start" after filling in your information.
  9. Click on the "Office 365" tab and choose "Install". You will be directed to the next page.
  10. If available, choose the version of Office 365 that you would like to install and click "Install" to download the executable file.
  11. Run the executable file and once completed, you have successfully downloaded and installed Office 365.

Office 365 ProPlus Installation Guide For Mac

  1. Go to http://www.office.com/getoffice365.

  3. Click on the "Get started for free "button.

  5. If you have already registered, then you will be prompted to sign in again.
    • Enter your Pacific email address (@pacific.edu) or your Pacific Gmail address (@u.pacific.edu).
    • Use your current PacificNet password.
    • Proceed to install file.
  6. If you haven't registered previously, check your Pacific email for a link from Office 365 and follow the link to finish signing up.
  7. You will be asked to do the following: Enter First Name and Last Name, create password, confirm your password, and enter your date of birth.
  8. On the next page, click "Install".
  9. Once the download completes, double-click the Microsoft Office 2011.dmg file and run the installer.
  10. You will be prompted with the following:
    • Introduction: "Continue".
    • License: "Continue" and "Agree".
    • Destination Select: Choose default location for file and then click "Install".
    • Installation Type: Click "Install" and type in account credentials when prompted.
    • Install.
